Domain Age Checker ("DomainAge", "we", "us") helps you audit domain registration history, expiration schedules, and registrar details. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use DomainAge, how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the service.

Information We Process

We limit the data we collect to what is necessary to deliver and secure the service:

• Account and contact details – such as your name, email address, or billing information if you create an account, subscribe to updates, or contact support.
• Domain input data – the domain names you submit for a lookup. We temporarily store them to generate a response and maintain short-lived caches to improve performance.
• Usage and diagnostics – aggregated analytics about how you interact with the app (e.g., pages viewed, buttons clicked, response times) so we can identify errors and improve reliability.
• Device and network metadata – IP address, browser, language, and operating system information used for security, fraud prevention, and localization.

We do not store registrar contact details returned from third-party registries, and we never sell the domain lists you submit.

How We Use Data

We process the information above to:

1. Deliver the domain age checker results you request and maintain the accuracy of the API output.
2. Provide customer support, answer questions, and send important service notices.
3. Monitor uptime, detect abuse, and secure the platform against automated attacks.
4. Improve product features by analyzing aggregated usage trends and feedback.
5. Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the service), legitimate interest (maintaining security and improving features), and consent (for optional communications).

How Long We Keep Information

• Domain input data is cached for no longer than 48 hours unless you store it manually (for example, by exporting results).
• Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years afterward to meet accounting and compliance requirements.
• Diagnostic logs are typically stored for up to 12 months, after which they are aggregated or deleted.

You may request deletion of your account data at any time. We will anonymize or erase personal information unless we must retain it for legal or security reasons.

Sharing and Transfers

We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers – trusted vendors who host our infrastructure, provide analytics, send transactional emails, or process payments. They may only use your data to perform services for us and must protect it under contract.
• Compliance and safety – when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DomainAge, our users, or the public.
